On this list, I’ve seen Buried and Louis CK: Hilarious (he’s one of my favorite comedians). I refuse to see Let Me In because I’ve been hearing all year how it pales in comparison to its original incarnation Let the Right One In. I wanna see that first. The rest, I’ll have to include in my must watch NOW list.
A while ago, I got conned into buying 3 years of Rachel Ray magazine by a teenager selling subscriptions on my doorstep. I rarely read them, but this little blurb caught my eye in this month’s issue. I mean, is this for real?! Microwave buttered popcorn for breakfast?! RAISINS ON POPCORN?! Truly a new low in epicureanism.

Now University of Santo Tomas (UST) theology professor Aguedo Florence Jalin Jr. is mobilizing his wards online, giving them bonus points for posting anti-RH comments on the Facebook page of the pro-RH Akbayan party-list group, which denounced the practice as urging the youth to “mimic the positions of authority figures.”
Jalin said the extra credit offered to students were prompted by reports that the Reproductive Health (RH) bill was close to being passed in the House of Representatives.
According to the Professor Jalin, there is nothing wrong with his instructions to his students, saying Akbayan’s Facebook page was an open space. “They have a line there that says comments and opinions are welcome. So that’s what we did,” he said.
